the quickest and easiest way to change the pad assignments is with the padkontrol editor librarian app. i did it the other night and it only took a few minutes.

record one of your practice sets and burn it onto a cd. at the gig, load the cd into one of the cd players going into the club's mixer, cue the cd up and keep that channel's level high enough so that all you have to do is hit the play button if things fuck up - it'll still be your music playing and ...
