I mean - it's not the end of the world, bc the params show up in a lane AFTER i touch the area on the instrument/effect that i want to automate - but a list is what i am used to.

This only happens with my v8, not my v7. See grabs below from v8. Basically, when I drop a plugin on any channel (as an effect or instrument), I get no automatable parameter options. yeah - it only happens sometimes. it must be one of those mac bugs(?) like when the live set doesnt change when you open a new set sometimes — the audio changes just not the session. (a topic already covered this but you can snap live back into place by opening the prefs window and closing it).

Not that its a huge thing but Live sometimes just doesn't hide when hitting +H OR the menu command - Live/Hide Live. This is happening on 10.5.4 on a Macbook Pro.

Anyone else getting this?

Just to concur — this has been happening to me since i have been using v7.0 on a macintosh.... Load new set, screen froze but hitting space bar triggers new set, status at bottom left says buffering or loading live set (can't remember). i have to open prefs or quit to make the screen match the audio...

what is your computer/audio/midi setup? i have never had any issues on either of my machines (g5 or macbook pro) running any instance of simpler. Both are also using the default 512 sample buffer size. One is being controlled by a Novation ReMote SL and the macbook is not connected to any interface...

to add insult to injury... I DL'd a few free plugins that are VST & AU and they are still doing it: http://i39.photobucket.com/albums/e181/quone/live_v2.png Interestingly the VST subfolders are out of order but the contents are correct; the AU folders are in order but contents incorrect. Weird.

Yeah — At some point Ableton just started not displaying the correct order. Again, not a HUGE problem, but a bit annoying. It could have happened during a 6.x update. I cannot see if there would be something in my Live prefs – I think I even deleted my Live .plist at one point but still nothing. _qu...

The VST folder contents are in alphabetical order though...
