Any news on how Live 5 functions in this regard?

What's the best way to use a midi footpedal to delete a clip or undo a recording? Presently i have my behringer fcb 1010 foot controller set up to record/launch clips and stop clips, but i have no way to actually delete them or remove them without using the mouse/qwerty. If i'm correct, i'll need to...

I would like Live to sync faster to external clock. I'm using circular logic In-Time for midi clock generation. Live needs an option to defeat smoothing.
