so they gave the acapella for remixing for their upcomimg release. i had a stab at it, even sent the tune in for teh contest. didn't win tho.

i think the deal was that i had just installed kaspersky 2006 beta (having used v5 pro before). it was supposed to be lighter on the cpu, scan faster etc. but after that everything went sour. games starting giving out the weirdest error messages, the comp would reboot whenever it felt like it, blah....

i can't paste it cuz i'm not getting that message anymore. the code i copied on a piece of paper. thought it was the most important thing.

do i really need to do all that? i don't have anything connected via usb/firewire and it just seems a pain in the ass to remove everything.

many people are trying hard to have their drums sound harderm with more punch. well i need to make them sound soft. especially the hats/.rides is what i'm having trouble with. they sound as if they're hit really hard. i've tried having a really low velocity to the ride hits, even with a longer attac...
