Hey Dom- thanks for the prompt reply- looks like I'm out of luck as I used to use an EMU EIV sampler and all my CD-Roms are in this format but I think I can get a 3rd party translator to make it work.

Anyone know if Sampler can read EMU format CD-Roms? There's very little info on the Ableton site as to what is compatible or isn't....they say something about "popular formats" but thats about it

Heh- thanks for the kind words- unfortunately all future iridite Produtions are on hold until I can get to the bottom of this permanent gap in the Audio when I record into Ableton

Hi thanks for the quick answer- I have experimented with the track delay settings in the past- it's just that I thought the Driver Error Compensation test gave Live a more accurate picture of the soundcard's real world latency figures and allowed it to compensate in turn?

Thanks for the help but.....it doesn't work- it only works if you are trying to copy Automation on the same Track (ie copy a piece of Automation from Bar 5 to Bar 13 on the same track). If you try and copy the Automation from Track 1 to Track to, it doesn't work.
