a simple method is to remove some of the notes. for a very beginning part you could leave only your notes that are on the first and third "and" (1.1.3, 1.3.3).

i think he's just using scrollwheels and stuff to prepare the next track for coming in.
you can also see him in a quit strange pose - i think it's because he uses his footpedal for adding some delay on the track.

ahh cool!

i was on wikipedia and looked for the various types of noise. it seems that this technoguys use somekind of "purple noise".

hey,

it seems that live itself can't generate real white noise (or any kind of noise). is there a (free) vst-plugin out there, that can do the job of generating noise in realtime?

apart from that, if you haven't done it already:

add a sidechain-compressor to your bassline, so that the room will free some space for the kick.
