Re: Drum Racks Utilizing Warp/Time Stretch
I posted about this in the bug forum, http://forum.ableton.com/viewtopic.php?f=3&t=108887 (technically a different issue, but still part of the same problem), but got moved to feature wishlist. The current wording is wrong when you choose to slice with warp markers, because it doesn't actually u...

Re: Slice to midi via warp marker.
Then if warp markers on a audio clip have been moved, shouldn't 'slice using warp markers' NOT be an option. Cause at the moment it's giving an option of something it cannot do, it's actually doing what 'warp using transients' is doing. Sort of redundant?

Slice to midi via warp marker.
Slice warped track to midi track(without moving warp markers) works as expected. Move some warp markers, slice it, using 'Create one slice per warp marker', new track gets sliced the same as the first. I'm thinking it's slicing via transients and ignoring the warp markers? This is using short loops....

I have carbon copy cloner, does this works? This should work. Make sure you have an up-to-date backup. Test via booting from the backup on the new Mac, Intel based Macs can boot from usb drives. Though considering vicz's comment Often Apple has a slightly different version of OSX for new hardware, s...

Use Automator, in your applications folder, to build a workflow that creates an audio file from any text.

its more than a physical slot. you need space for the controller, it has to have power routed to it on the motherboard, blah blah blah. Agreed. I'm sure the Apple engineers are clever enough to fit it in that small area. Either way, if there is space or not, it should be re-designed to accommodate ...

Well it's not a space issue cause there's a spot right there for a Firewire port. F-off the lock slot and put in FIrewire!

Re: Live in OSX window question
You know how you can set the default window size of the finder by opening one, resizing it, then closing it right after? I want to do this with Live. I have a tiny portion of the screen it's not taking up and bugs the crap out of me. I've tried resizing and saving it as the template set, but that d...

Much appreciated.
Go to http://www.alphakanal.de:4356/articles/category/readme and read the 'side chain' part.
Essentially you set up an audio track and route its' output to the Automat track.
