Do I understand these #'s correctly?
Lower #'s are better?

I thought that Macs were the way to go for Music creation/editing?
Is this not true?
Should I be buying a PC?

I want to be able to take loops off Audio CDs and save them for later use. I also want to be able to put very refined EQ effects on these loops.
