Re: Rating System for Loops, instruments, plugins etc
I would go one further and ask for a metadata tagging system. Like the one seen in products like Native Instruments Synth Plugins + Kore and Maschine So I could tag my files (Samples & Presets) with words. For exemple I could tag my kick drum samples with the words "Bass Drum" Or my an...

Re: Clip View 16th Note Loop Length Limit
Well not really Yoseph because I'm talking about looping audio and not MIDI clips.
But I guess it's my fault that I didn't make this clear in my first post so I should re-edit that.

Re: Clip View 16th Note Loop Length Limit
Yes I actually agree with you S4racen however 32nd note is useful especially for rolls. But like you say anything lower becomes a drone. So de-linking the quantization of the loop end point would be seriously cool. Would give the Pioneer CDJ style creative looping ability I'm aiming for. Any DJ who ...

Re: LOOP CONTROL
Amazing solution sanosdole will try it as soon as its compatible with Live 8.2.2 Going back to the idea to do creative looping. There is an inherent problem with clip looping that ties in with this post. Right now the clip loop length is limited to no smaller than 16th note length. This really dampe...

Re: Clip View 16th Note Loop Length Limit
Sorry but your wrong and it just shows that you post without first knowing the facts. No matter what the zoom setting is Ableton will not allow smaller than 16th note loop lengths for the clip. This is true when moving the loop start and end brace points with your cursor. Also true whilst trying to ...

Audio Clip View 16th Note Loop Length Limit
Right now the Audio clip loop length is limited to no smaller than 16th note length. This really dampens any creative possibilities to do roll effects and the likes. I would like to see much smaller intervals being allowed for DJ style creative FX. 32nd and 64th note intervals would be ideal and if ...

Re: VST / AU Hosting in Rewire Slave Mode !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Well +1 you have my vote!
Ableton is useless right now as a rewire slave. Without being about to use plugins which lets face it all of us surely do.
Would indeed be very useful for migrating and bouncing the stems of an Ableton project into another DAW for mastering purposes.

Well from reading the notes on version 8.1.5 it looks like this has been finally fixed.
Good to know Ableton was listening to us. Thanks guys!

Re: Drag-Drop into Plug-in Windows
Well I have gone and bought a Mac Pro since first posting on this thread. I just tried to drag samples to Kontakt 3, Battery 3 and the Maschine plugin interface. None of which worked, so my request would be to please add this same support for the Mac.

Re: L 8.1.3 Arpeggiator m4l sync issues
Oh dear... I hope someone out there has a solution for us and Ableton really needs to get on to this one. I wonder if its possible to create a M4L device that compensates delay? After all there are VST's that have been released that do the same. http://www.voxengo.com/product/latencydelay/ that's on...

Re: L 8.1.3 Arpeggiator m4l sync issues
I'm assuming its some sort of M4L MIDI device he's using placed to the left of the arpaggiator on a track. At least that's why I get out of sync issues with plugins, as I've demonstrated. I've also had the same thing happen if I have a MIDI track with a M4L device with its MIDI output routed to anot...

Re: The Not Enough Memory Issue
Hey Ableton - how about fixing this fundamental liability BEFORE coming up with brand new features for Live 9?! I think we'd all just be happy with a perfectly working - non-crashing - version of Live 8... call that "Live 9" if you want (and then charge us a ridiculous amount for the upgr...
