i just started a thread over in a nothewr forum asking about the awesome snare in that track

and how it was achieved

and it aint layering

I am having alot of trouble sending full banks to the pcmcia card in my nord rack 2 is there something i am missing ...a sysex filter that needs switching off? maybe the banks i downloaded from clavia and other internet places needs to be converted to a different format any help appreciated cheers :D

ok have updated motu drivers uninstalled the crac, and loaded the demo of live 6 and again am getting this tone coming out the master buss i am pretty sure, once it starts it happens every minute or so, ...highly frustrating i started a fresh project and it seemed fine, didnt get this sound as soon...

ediT; mind you i think alot of my trouble comes from motu and their lack of driver update support

cheers sound happens without any plugs , just audio playing back, so must be an issue with the soundcard....motu traveller ... will try out just the demo and see if it still occurs, thats a good point... it is a crack, i guess i didnt think i could load one of my full live 5 projects with a demo of ...

I was actually wondering wether its a demo thing built into Live.6 I have a paid copy of live 5.2 on my lappy, and recently just loaded a freeware copy of 6 onto my desktop just to see if its worth paying for the upgrade just yet but have had nothing but problems with this sound since I have started...

When I render this track out it is noticeably slower when i play it back in soundforge its not soundforge its happening when i render, i have checked my settings and there is nothing I can see I am running Live 5 on a pc laptop, descent specs although this track has the cpu bouncing around like craz...
