Does anybody know if this is possible using the mac keyboard at all?

Does anybody know the actual thinking behind there not being fast-forward/rewind buttons?... i can't think of a single reason why there wouldn't be, seems completely idiotic to me and so counter-intuitive when working with digital audio.

yes, on my novation remote 37 SL

and it works just like normal DAW then?... do you know what your Novation controls are mapped to?... cc number or something?

Out of curiosity, why can you not just skip around where you need with a mouse? Not being facetious, just curious what the real benefits of this are? because i'm using the mouse to create the notes.change velocities etc., it's just the way i work when writing notes, put notes in,move them around, k...

This is driving me crazy, why is there no rewind and fast-forward in Live?... i always use these buttons in other DAWs and i'm completely lost without them, very frustrating, will these ever come to Live?... a major major oversight imo.

this is THE number one annoying aspect of Live for me, i REALLY wish they would sort this out

Exactly the same thing is happening to me

Powerbook 1Ghz with 1Gb RAM, OS 10.3.9 with Live 5.0.2

i use a mac powerbook 1Ghz with 1Gb RAM and i'm afraid the arrangement page of Live is like wading through treacle (with CPU at about 40% or so) compared to my friends PC laptop, its like night and day, the PC is much much faster, i think Live runs ALOT better on PCs.

i vote for quicktime support as well, i would lurv this feature!!

nope you didn't misunderstand me, you can't use midi or your vsti's in live when using ReVision

There is a BIG problem with ReVision though!!, you can't use it as a rewire slave, it has to be the master which means you can't use midi and/or vst plug ins
