anyone have good or bad experiences using this with a Powerbook, OSX 3.0?

it seems geared towards the use of Live and live use. heh

also anyone use it with Logic too?

that 1 could clip could be played in multiple pitches at once..

i.e.- playing the same clip at C1 and G1 at the same time in sync (or out of sync) with each other.

not sure about the programming on that, could be totally difficult for the Abletons although would be cool

how and what did use to "play" the material live to record it and then play it Live?

Chymera- thats cool but what happens if you dont want the track you just created to be part of your live set so you - 1. do a save as 2. open the original session 3. start creating in that session again but then you decide you like the track you "saved as" and want it in your full session ...

chymera- i dont at all disagree with you at all. live is the best for playing live,, makes the computer an instrument! love it! i used to use Logic for playing stuff live and was a hassle. but... its difficult to use as a studio composition tool and then transfer session to session for performance, ...

not sure what OS you are on but you should either cmd H to hide or use Exposé to toggle bwtn windows, very handy.
