Like it

I'v had the Axiom 25 for about 2 weeks now and I like it alot. The keys feel good, it's small enough to chuck in my backpack, it's sturdy, and I'm not really a pianist so it's great for simple chords and general messing about. I wish the axiom 25 had faders instead of pads though. Seriously those 8 ...

Have you ever seen some of Dj Enferno's work? He has a setup similar to what your trying to do. But he uses 2 separate computers, one dedicated to his ttm57 + 2 tables/effects processors, and another for Ableton with several midi controllers. Not sure what your trying to do exactly, but he runs his ...

Anyone seen the movie "Zeitgiest" ?? Warning, it's about 2 hours long. And if your a hardcore conservative/religious nut it's all gonna go in one ear and out the other. Check it out here But for those with an open mind seeking truth, it's a good watch. Mind you I used to be a US Marine, so...

honestly

I started out with simple house/electro mixing on 2x turntables and a mixer. After seeing some of Kid Beyond's work I really wanna integrate a footcontroller with ableton to piece together live songs with different vinyl samples and drum samplers/effects processors ect... ect... I like everything fr...

I don't use linux, but I'm aware of it's capabilities. And I think a Linux version of ableton would rock my socks off. And I would finally have a good excuse to ditch windows for a dedicated linux machine. Linux is faster and more stable than windows, but unfortunatly this is but a dream. The demand...

interesting

I'm leaning more towards the Akai MPD24 right now simply because it has those 6 faders! which will see alot of play. Also the Akai has Velocity as well as Pressure sensative pads for those soft drum hits when u want em. Additionally the Akai pad's come straight off the MPC2000 which is an amazing pi...

padkontrol vs triggerfinger?

Well it's christmas all over again with my Tax returns comming in a few weeks here so it's time to upgrade my minimal bedroom setup. Already got my heart set on a behringer fcb1010 footcontroller and a Axiom 25 keyboard/midi controller. Now it's down to the drum pads: Padkontrol/Trigger Finger/(Akai...

Guess it depends on the model... I run a Toshiba Satellite P25 S526 laptop with a P4 3.2 Ghx processor and 1 Gig of Ram and it's worked great for the past 3 years I'v had it. It's more of a desktop than a laptop though with it's huge 17inch display and short battery life. Only complaints I have woul...

This is alittle off-topic, but I was wondering if it was possible to run both ableton and serato simultaneously on one computer?

I'm working with a 3.2 ghx 1g ram toshiba running windows xp. Prolly would need a mac for two soundcards eh?
