Kinda OT, but using Kontakt to map samples of large folders with lots of samples, is a great way to map all of those samples to individual keys automatically. Which is a pain in the ass is Sampler. I've got some folders of akai samples but they're not mapped. I can just import the samples into Konta...

I have both, and I like Sampler for it's simplicity and low cpu drain.
Kontakt definately has a few more features that I use for certain things.
But I can definately say that I use both.
just in differnt ways.

you say that you have the original reaktor track and the audio render of it on another?
maybe try throwing a utility plug using the phase inverse preset aross one of them, and playing them together,if it cancels out, you're imagining things. If not, then what you hear should be what's missing.

yep, try to stay away from the m-audio monitors.
Just to another veg to the pot, the Event monitors are somewhat well regarded in the lower end of the price spectrum.

I like this band, there are a lot of this style of band, in the south of the usa.
This is a very good example of some very talented young guys.
