Re: more then 8 makro knobs in Instrument rack for plugin
@ glitchrock-buddha: You just need to not use a rack. Use just the device (unracked) and hit the configure button to set the order of the parameters you want. Then you can use all 64 on the APC40 when the device is selected. Or if you must rack it, you'll have to press the device > button to go to t...

Re: apc40: reassigning 'Cue level' to highlited parameter and 1+
thanks guys and S4racen thanks for confirming the way to work(around). I sorta was afraid that this is the way to work, but it is good to know so I dont't put wasted energy in 'wrong directions'. I guess the 'flexible rotary knob' (Cue level) was a bad idea ey? It just seems handy to me to be using ...

Re: Budget/midrange Laptop a little gem or an absolute stinker
ableton runs fine on my aldi medion laptop 2.5 years old now 2 gigs mem. running xp the big screen get's laughed at by apple/ibm snobs but it gives nice extra track view. live midi notes (external and asci keyboard) drop nice in time i would not recommand it for daily carrieing around ,it is heavy a...

apc40: reassigning 'Cue level' to highlited parameter and 1+
To me it seems nice to have a 'flexible' physical knob, f.e. Cue level, wich would automaticly map to the 'activated' parameter in Live. Also i would like to know if it is possible to re-assign Device controls for external devices (exterbal vst's), in a way it makes more sence to me, but without hav...

Re: Best APC40 step sequencer?
Hanz, and other apc40 people, Now that i talk to you in person, I'd first like to take oppertunity to thank you in person for the great script! I plan to really learn to use the step sequencer, i think it is one of the best ones out there For the 'two buttons at the same time'(and hope this is clear...

Re: Best APC40 step sequencer?
Steppers, The Hanz Petrov script Is really amazing, but i really am a bit sad about the fact that it takes away the posibillity to press two buttons at once. Pressing a row of buttons in one gesture seems essential to me for intuitive step sequencing. I suggested this funtion on Hanz' blog but it se...
