Re: mIcrotonal support in LIve
I've posted this before but it's the most thorough and systematic discussion of the 432 thing and why the science of sound doesn't support any of its proponents' claims: http://www.miltonline.com/2014/01/07/hertz-so-good/ That's an interesting read. I had not seen any of your other posts about this...

Re: mIcrotonal support in LIve
I don't have any dogs in this fight...but I personally do not entirely disregard some of the points in the 432 vs 440 argument and disagree that any of the benefits as described could entirely be achieved by simply slowing down your masters. A primer of these theories are presented here: http://www....

Re: How to simulate Pioneer's effects on Ableton?
I'd like to help you create some effects in Live that emulate the effects found in the RMX-1000. Can you provide any links to recorded examples of these effects in action? Audio or video would be fine, as long as the quality of the recording is decent. Thanks I thought about using RMX-1000's VST but...

The Gilbrator Electronic Drum Mount is really great for full height stage use: http://www.amazon.com/Gibraltar-Electronic-Drum-Mount-Station/dp/B0021VPOHA Have you used this for your Push? If so, does it "bounce" when you play the pads, or is it rock solid (like the name suggests)? Rock s...

Re: Push for 'traditional' musicians?
I remember seeing a video of someone playing Giant Steps on a Push. It was probably one of the Dennis's that work for Ableton. Pretty cool but i don't know about practical. ;) I've enjoyed playing keyboard sounds with the Push but you really have to setup the velocity and stuff before hand because t...

Re: Push for 'traditional' musicians?
So I've been looking for a way to improve my workflow in Live and I've been researching Push, but I would like some opinions from people who maybe in the same place as me musically. I don't make electronic music and I don't use softsynths or samples. I record everything myself. (and no I don't thin...
