I think a point that I am starting to hit is MIDI controlled plug-ins (FX) A lot of interesting plug-ins are starting to be MIDI-controlled, for that we need MIDI. I would love to see a sister MIDI app that intergrated with live. A sequencer that can handle VSTi etc. RE: Logic Apple now has 1. Guys...

why no sequencer? (remember: it should be a LIVEable sequencer!!.. not a copy of logic or cubase..) for vst you'd need some midi stuff esp. for softsynth (thats my thought behind it, using reaktor or something.. with ableton as the only host) why? its better and more stable and better to keep track ...

hmm.. that doepfer is not that liveable imo.. better concentrate on reason/electribe/rs7000 but try to pick out the right stuff.. best of all worlds.. incl rolls and 64 step patterns (breakbeats!) (i opened another thread on that).. this should be possible with audio AND midi (but always seperately)...

ps: maybe the midisequences can be that easy and nicely handled as those audio tracks.. inkl groove stuff and 909/808-style editing.. thats easy.. the LEDs should be switched 1-16,..., -64 so you can set a pattern playing simultanieously..
