tempo

Hi. I've finally found that when enlarging the display vertically, the resolution of the values change. So by trying some different disply sizes, I'm able to finally have the tenmpos I want but sometimes I have to try several time before I can get it. I can't beleive that there's no tempo list of ju...

Thanks. I'm not used to apps that change grid values while zooming in but I'm getting used to it slowly. Vegas works this way.

Ajusting tempo precisely in arrangement

Hi. I'm doing some tempo changes with the automation curve of the master track in the arrangement window. But when I double click to create a break point, nothing indicates that it's exactly at the good position. I need the tempo changes to be frame-accurate positioned. And the values of tempo are h...

Moving a clip by beats and less...

Hi. is there a way to move a clip in the arrangement window by less than bar value?

Let's say I have a clip that is supposed to start on measure 5 but I want it just a couple of frames sooner. So I'd like to nudge it a couple of frames to the left. Is there a way to do this?

Thanks

live setup

The songs play from beginning to end but these are not stereo tracks. I have seven separate outs so the soundman can have control over vocals, synths and percs. I'd like to use Live to play the synth parts when necessary without having to compile some big .wav files that most of the time would be si...

Still searching for the best way to play live

Hi. I have to organize my live show. We are a standard rock band with keyboard and vocal sequences that play in the background. I'm still searching for the best way to organize my live show. We have about 20 songs. I'm the guitarist so I can't load a new session after each song. We will play in medi...

ooo yeah!

First of all, thanks for all your answers. Dirtybomb, wow! Have you build this yourself? Maybe I'd have a couple of questions!! is this a flat screen embedded in the cover? Cool! I'm not afraid of the size of the rack, I'm a guitarist too! But with this rig, Amplitube will replace my marshall head a...

go!

The more I read, the more I think I make the good decision using a rackmount pc. It's not for sending email in a park but play live in clubs and venues where obviously there's always electricity so battery is not even a small point for me. As for the weight, my power amplifier rack is the most heavy...

case

Cool! It answers my question well. I don't plan to travel by plane with this in a near future and since i want it with me in the car, it will be the only thing in the case, along with the fw disk. So I'll go with that and of course, buy a laptop asoon as possible.

Thanks

rack

Well thanks for the advice. I'll try to choose the best case possible to avoid this kind of problems and of course, I'll use a video card so I'll check that. If its the major problems I could have , I can live with this. I had so many problems during the past years with my pcs but xp has solve a lot...

rackmounting a pc to play live

Hi. I can't afford to buy a laptop so my plan is to rackmount my studio machine. (AMD 1800+ pc) I've seen some nice aluminium rackmount cases with fans and power supplies included. Besides, this machine just works great with all my program including Logic and Live. I have a delta 1010 lt sound card ...

loop region after the start point

Hi everybody. First post here and new to live but it seems that I've found the solution I've been looking for to many live situations, great program. OK, here's my question: I have a 4 bars loop. I want it to start on bar 1, plays until the end and then loop between bar 2 and 3. I'm able to do the o...
