Keychee's Push stand
I like Keychee's podium/furniture stand he uses for his Push. Anyone know where to get something like that in the States?

Using devices with CV, Gate, Sync In
For all the years I've been active I've never taken the liberty to use such old school devices from Roland or Moog that do not support midi, and instead are equipped only with CV, Gate, S-Trig, Sync In, etc.. I took the leap and bought a Moog Source. Tony at Encore said he can retro-fit Midi In/Out ...

Axiom Air 32 Trigger Pad Assignment in Live
Live 9.1 it will automatically recognize the Axiom Air 32 midi control as a control surface and assign the drum pads in octave range C5. I'm trying to get the pads to work in octave range C1. When the Axiom is not recognized as a control surface by Live and rather it's just a regular midi controller...

Waves Tune, iZotope Nectar, Live 9
Has anyone successfully used either Waves Tune or iZotope Nectar in Live for Pitch Correction? I recall reading that Waves Tune wasn't working with Live 8 and earlier, and Melodyne has an awkward workflow in Live. Any input would be appreciated.
Thanks!

Live's Faders/Recording Levels (Pro Feature Request)
This is something I've come to really value within Pro Tools and I really believe this would be a fantastic addition to Live. A great video overview by Kenny Gioia may be viewed --> here . My feature request: The channel strip recording level shows an audio signal at 0db only if the fader is at 0db....

Re: Winter NAMM 2012 thread..
I've been an sE fanboy for years; have two original 2200a's which I picked up seven years ago for around $100 each(when very few people knew or gave a shit about sE). I recorded my first 10" with them(vocals/ac. guitar). This new version two is a no-brainer. I recently picked up an NT1A. I wan...

You know what the irony in all of this is? Greg Kurstin produced Lily Allan's "It's Not Me, It's You" album in Logic.

Re: Recognizing Live in a song
Sometimes when I browse Beatport I like to play a little game called "Can you hear the Vengeance sample packs?!" :D Their one shots are great. I find that taking the no-kick-loops and using volume envelopes to mute certain parts works pretty well. You can usually retain some syncopation o...

+1 for the VCM 600.
If you haven't checked out Tom Cosm's Ableton/VCM 600 video on Youtube yet be sure to watch it.

What's your favorite FM "In the Studio With..." video?
I really enjoyed the one with Marcel Woods. Partly because it featured Walt Jensen as well. Marcel and Walt seemed genuinely interested in making this video and sharing their thoughts, ideas, and production techniques.

Sampler - Batch Import?
Is it possible to batch import EXS24 or NKI patches? Last time I tried you had to do it one patch at a time, something that is less than appealing when talking about 1000+ patches.
Thanks,

Mic Isolation/Vox Guard
For those who record vocals, I've been considering getting a Mic IsolationGuard (Auralex Mudguard in particular). This may seem like a silly question, but since the isolation guard is basically right in front of the singers face, do you think is more of a distraction than its worth? I don't have a v...

Vocals Take and Comping
Live is perfect in every way except I wish there was a simpler way to do Vocal takes + editing/comping - more like Pro Tools or Logic (Quick Swipe). Does anyone here record vocals into Live? If so, what's your technique? Perhaps I'm simply overlooking something.

I was thinking about selling my Apple 23" Cinema Display and buying the Apple 27" display, but I'm not sure if: 1) If the glossy screen is going to be a nightmare. I paid an extra $50 when I bought my 17" MBP to have the non-glare display. 2) With a program like Live and it's ergonomi...
