well..i've got two dell adapter cables so I just ripped the ground stick off of one, on the other one I also tried using a 3 to 2 prong plugin adapter - both had the same exact effect....MUCH better! I'm still getting some lower-pitched buzzing - but I need to test stuff some more - regardless, this...

Laptop Problems: Dell Inspiron Notebook AC buzz noise
I know it's not exactly a Live issue, but I desperately need help. I've spent the last few months testing and testing and just finally figured out last night that the buzz from my rig was because of the Dell AC adapter. My setup is as follows: Dell 5100 > M-Audio FW410 or Presonus Firepod > Sound Sy...

yes ben - that's how I understand it too and I just finished testing it with my FCB1010 and so far so good...if i program the midi foot controller button to send a note value, then map it to Live on the on/off switch for an effect, everything works just liked i'd always dreamed - only a lot steeper ...

behringer fcb 1010 - turn effects on and off
I'm trying to figure out how to configure my midi foot controller (FCB 1010) to turn an effect on then off then on then off - I've got it mapped with a CC to turn it off, but i can't get it to turn back on. I've played around with the "Mode" (changing it to "Relative (Signed Bit)"...

sorry I can't help with your issue, but just curious... did you find a way using the 1010 to actually turn the effect on then back off again then on again then off, etc... i can only get mine mapped to turn it one time to the opposite of what it started as. I'm gonna start a new topic so as not to c...

it doesn't work like that for me....when i'm in session view if i click on (for example) the send B of track 2, then a box surrounds the dial, but if i cannot type in my desired level there - additionally, whenever i click anywhere on the fader or level display of a track it automatically reposition...

play from Clip Display + markers
is there any sort of shortcut (such as CTRL + SPACE in Track Display) that I can use to play from a certain spot when I'm editing Grid Markers in Clip Display?
seperately...anyone come up with a clever way yet to put a custom project marker (aka bookmark) at a certain point for reference?
