Tempo mapping to get hit points etc - I've tried to get my head round it before but couldn't find a way in L...

Re: Video in Live 8
Hi guys :) Live 8 is great, as everybody here can't wait to check the new warping engine, colours, looper and all :) Anyone knows if there are any news regarding video in live 8? Dunno, video in session view, for example? Will Max for Live, in addition of washing dishes, handle video (max has a com...

cool, thanks for all the suggestions, - would someone mind explaining their basic scoring process? What do you do if you *do* need to slow down a sections tempo, can you lock markers to the video clip etc? The first bit fo the course is a car advert and it needs 3 different styles/tempos - the video...

Scoring film
Hey, I'm siginging up for a course in writing music for film/game etc and I've been told that Live isn't the way to go - I've used it, via the arrange window, as a traditional songwriting DAW, never delved into warp markers and all that which is how, apparently, you get it to work with film - as you...

Runtime Error
Hi, did you ever solve this?
I'm on a PC, 2 gigs of memory installed, running Live Lite 6.07 and am getting the same Runtime Error/Not Enough memory messages whenever, it seems, memory usage goes above 1.7gigs.
Can anyone help?
Thanks.

Thanks
Thanks for all your replies!
I've got it working how I want now in the arrangement view - the ctrl+spacebar tricks seems to do it. I think maybe that's where I'll stay for now and move onto the session/clip features later.

Idiotically Stupid Questions
I'm just dipping my toes in with Ableton Live (installed the demo tonight) after getting fed up with EnergyXT - two really basic things - In arrangement view I'm trying to record from bar 17 but it always starts from bar 1 - I've moved the loop markers to bar 17 but no dice? Two, using clips ...
