i hope we'll see this function with ableton in the future...

i think we can run 2 instance of Live. but there is the fact only one instance can use one midi device... second problemm is that only one instance can use ASIO... i have idea on first problem: what's about write some user scripts to lock and release midi ports on the fly, for example: pushing down ...

you can use 2 autopanners in a group to make a trancegate

cool , i think it's better to open to sets in one instance of live

i think it's good idea for ableton team to make this future...

i have this problem too, my live work with ASIO: and if one Live was started -> it lock all midi devices and ASIO so that another copy of Live cant access it..

Live is really cool. I'm going to connect my Novation A-station to live via MIDI. Does live write envelopes of A-station synth, it's CC#, it has no any virtual plugin to work with.
