I had a pocket PC a while ago (only a little over a year) and I had only tried out Griff. At the time I found it just impossible to use, but having a look at their new screenshots, I gotta say it looks pretty oozey woozey.. (whatever that means ...) and much more well thought out. The interface for ...

I too have purchased this and would agree with the previous post that mentions the abstract sound FAR outdo the standard ones. If you want normal kicks snares, hats etc for electronic music, I'd recommend Dance Mega Drums 2 for fat warm sounds. The NI stuff has a very diverse range of sounds, which ...

last night I decided to go and put a deposit down on the Andromeda. This thing does sound awesome. More than anything, I totally dig the modulation possibilities and I think it's time for a Synth that takes me to another level instead of me needing to take the synth to another level... All my testin...

hey muthafunka,

ive been spending last few months in Taipei/Taiwan... I dig this place too. I'd love to come check out Japan sometime though.

You do music there for a living or make your rent payments some other way?

ALESIS Andromeda opinions

Hi everyone, I have sold my Nord Rack 2 x and am looking at selling a few other items just to reduce my studio collection to just my notebook and an Alesis Andromeda. The Ultimarc card is Mac compatible, they have a Mac programming software for it too.

I have been using their products for a little while now and they are absolutely fantastic. I've made controller for contestants on a TV game show using their products and find them to be faultless.

Not sure of the logic of that one, Mackie are a US "manufacturer" whose products are mainly built in China now. Plenty of Japanese companies use Taiwan for fabrication etc. It's nice to see the emerging competition in the controller market though. Hoaxes aside of course. 8O I'm in Taiwan ...

I have a Nord 2 rack,
JP 8000
DX7

+ a friend of mine's TB-303 here at the moment.
The Nord 2 & JP-8000 are both invaluable additions. Except the fat bass of the 303 has me hooked too now!

I have also messed with an SH-101 and all I can say is it's just friggin juicier than a booger...
