It'll be very bad news.
I tend to not use Apple softwares (other than those bundled in MacOS) because you never know what their future is. Apple can stop dev with no explanation (look at the XServe), especially with pro softwares.

I'm not a heavy user, working with Zebra and Reason on 10.6.2, no problem.
Updates are not cheap and new functions are not mandatory. I still have to do with 6.

actually I just discovered the MIDI rack ! (because sometimes I play guitar instead of composing , I'm a bad guy...)

I understand I must put a midi effect to define a note range, I select the pitch which does nothing in my case and voila.

Actually I have Live 6 so I don't know others version. I would like a MIDI effect that outs only a range of MIDI notes. For example, on track 1, I set up 0 to 64 and on track 2 65 to 127. Notes outside the range are ignored. I guess it's a very simple MIDI device so I don't know why it doesn't exist...

I just discovered that Live doesn't record aftertouch, also it cannot thru the message to an instrument. I though first that my VFX was malfunctionning...

It's really strange and bad.

is there a release date for the 6.0.8 ?
I'm getting mad with the transpose bug when using Zebra or other AU.
I know this bug has been fixed but I don't know if I could use the 6.0.8beta for every day use in the waiting of the release.

The 6.0.8 works for me with Zebra 2 AU, no more transposition when copying, moving a clip in arrangement.
