looks great, been looking for something like this. i've got a converter to hook up a ps2 dualshock joypad to the pc, but have never been able to find a decent prog to use with it. tried one called LiveSticks but it was poor...

yeah man, i get this happening as well, and not just repeated twice either. supatrigger just sometimes gets locked into it's own little groove + repeats an edit a few times, before realising what it's supposed to be doing + going back to the randomness. i guess it just gets carried away... i find th...

fine-tuning volume envelope breakpoints.

i'm gonna repost this problem cos it got lost in another thread, and i'm sure i can't be the only one who's bugged by this... volume envelope breakpoints - in arrangement view, bring up the volume envelope, double-click to create a breakpoint + it'll create at 0.2 or -0.2, then you'll have to ctrl-d...

yes. superb idea - this'd save me a hell of a lot of time switching through different parameters. i like the colour coding thing as well - at the moment, if automation exists for a parameter, it shows up as red in the drop-down box. this could easily be expanded to different colours for different pa...

yes man. i just posted about this in the bugs section, but the wierd volume breakpoint settings really bug me on a daily basis. it's the same with any automation breakpoints, you always need to fine-tune to get them to zero... why?

i've struggled with this one as well - i use a lot of tempo changes in my mixes so i had to find a workaround... what i do is increase the size of the master track on screen til it's filling like half the screen - then you can get a finer tuning than if it's normal size. on a similar note, why the h...

thanks for all of yolur help - i have a few extra questions: what if i want to mix it live? when you say automate isn't this refering to the arrangement view when you would be making mixes at home rather than live? yeah, i was kinda talking about a mix made in the studio like a collage rather than ...

just so i've got the question right, what you're trying to do is: play through one track at it's natural tempo, then bring in a second track over the top near the end, the second tune being faster than the first. so you just want to speed up the end of the first track to match the intro of the secon...

yeah, i see. i guess it just adds to the undo buffer all the time, every time a parameter changes in metal mickey, so when you undo, you're really just undoing the last parameter change in the plugin. bugger. i guess bouncing down's gonna have to do - i do kinda like having metal mickey on random th...

yeah i am using metalmickey on one track, but the problem's universal - no undo at all, not just when i change the parameters on the plugin. is there anything that can be done about this? i do kinda like having an undo...

i've lost my undo.

bit of a strange one, but i seem to have lost my undo function. ctrl-z doesn't do anything, and the where undo is in the edit menu, it reads undo change "parameter #42" (or some number). anyone else had this problem + know how to make it go away? (i'm on live 3.0.2 + win xp by the way...) ...

yeah that's exactly what i'm into doing too, mix albums that vary in tempo + use a wide variety of styles - i like to start off slow and gradually work my way up in tempo over the course of an hour. i've been used to working solely in an audio editor and i've only got live fairly recently, so i have...

nah, haven't heard any, been waiting for it forever, can't wait for it to finally come out... been hearing about that, a new solo album and a new black star album all imminent, but still we keep on waiting... can't believe it been like 5 years since black on both sides came out...
