Unpacked Loops... where do they go?

Have been using Live 3 forever.. just upgraded to 5. Bought the box.

Loaded the Fish loops.. did an unpack... did I miss something?

Where do they get loaded?

Reason won't recognize garageband as a master, but live will.

Looks like we need to move this questioning to the Reason board.

Thanks all.

I too tried this. Question. Is garageband a live master? I tried to start Live once when garageband was accidently started, and it said there is a rewire master running... That's the only app that I know could be the culprit. Anyways, quit garageband and restated live and got no error message. Still...

I think we're both mac.

Where is the preferences file? What do I delete. I'm assuming a new one will be created when I start Live, if I blow the old one away?

I suspect some file got corrupted, I just don't know which one. I just don't have a clue which one.

Any ideas?

There is no Reason input, before or after I start reason. It gives me a message that the Rewire master is running, but there does not appear to be one running once live is started.

I just installed 3.0.4, and it still is not working. I think this happened when I installed 3.0.2.

Something hosed in Mac OSX 10.2.8 Rewire

Maybe someone can point me in the right direction. I just installed 3.0.4 and rewire is not working. I load Live! and I get the message that the rewire engine is installed, but when I start Reason, it has audio configured to the soundcard, and there is no Reason input to select. Also, I can freely q...

Is it just me or does 3.0.3 take a long time to load?

Does the new release help this problem?

aren't there some trick triggers you can whack with a drum stick that you can mount on cymbals stands and such? Seems like thats better than trying to get a finger on a key. I guess you could whack a key with a drumstick, but I've seen the Oxygen keyboard... and I don't think that would be a viable ...

AMD yes!

I just upgraded my Athlon 1200 to an Athlon 2400XP factory processor. It came with a super quiet fan and it cost me $87 bucks. It screams. I could have bought the faster one, but that would have meant a new motherboard and new ram. Current one has 266MHz bus. I'm running ProTools with Live and Reaso...
