Re: Studio monitor advice
I seriousely can recommend the Opals, they are a whole different league compared to the A7s. I owned A7 with the Sub8 and thought they where great, but when I got the Opals and A/B ed them I have to admit that the Opals have a stunning 3D stereo image, wich the Adams don't have at all. The build qua...

Re: LiquidMix and sidechain compression (ducking) help..
The liquidmix does not allow external sidechaining,
it only has a internal sidechaining channel.
So no ducking is possible.

Re: [hardware] advice for a midi+audio interface on firewire ?
I could recommend the echo audiofire 2 or 4.
The 4 hasn't a breakout cable for the midi ports (less hassle) and preamps,
but is a little bigger.
Good quality, I use mine for a long time now and never had a problem.
Well worth a look.

Re: How to control VST paramters ? maximum ? pitch values vs % ?
The behaviour you encounter comes from the fact that you work in session, and with clip automation. Clip automation is relative to the "physical" knob position. In arrangement (track) automation you will see the "real" value/units of the physical knob. In this special case of det...

Re: FARMPAD - Can it trigger Chords (2+ notes) on a single pad?
I don't think that this is possible,
neither that it is maintained.
You could create some midiclips with the chords inside and trigger them without quantization with the padkontrol.
Or use a different chord plugins on different tracks routed to one instrument track.
Perhaps this helps you out.

Decoding Cache?
Go to prefrences, empty your decoding cache and set a minimum free space on your hd.
Everytime you add a mp3 Live converts it to .wav.

Hello, I've already posted this in the trackteam forums, but I think the chance to get a solution to my problem is better when posted here too. I'm currently looking in a solution to get proper feedback of running clips in Live reflected to the PK lights. After some difficulties on how to set up all...

Yes, I meant what gear was connected, as I had a terratec usb26 soundcard some time ago and got BS to, without changing anything. In the end it was the usb driver, reinstalled it and worked afterwards. Try to reproduce it and come back with the faulty files, or google around what they do and how the...

Hi 4.33, some time ago I tried the same as you, problem is that you can't do that with the TF, as it lacks of midi cc 148 (I don't remember exactly, it stops at 147) wich would give you a gate mode. The pressure midi cc wich is send acts as aftertouch would on a normal keyboard, so it's the same mid...
