Re: Replacement for Rewire. Keep Live for live!
I've heard allot of great things about The Metric Halo ULN-2, it's very similar to the Soundscape/Mixpander but it also runs on a Mac! It has it's own dedicated mixer and DSP and a slew of really nice plugs, plus it has Eucon support! check it out and lemme know what you all think. I'm planning on p...

Re: Alt-dragging clips up/down to change their volume
Thanx for the tidbit about the "show automated parameters only," Yet this function still is a bit of a hassle to set up. For every track that you need to hide the automation line, you have to select "none," then select "show automation," and then select "show autom...

Re: Alt-dragging clips up/down to change their volume
I think this is good idea. It would definitely speed things up to stay in one section of the arrange view, instead of clicking the audio and then mousing down to bottom of screen to make a volume change. This would really help on Post projects or any project that has many audio files that need to be...

Re: Replacement for Rewire. Keep Live for live!
hey scaper777! Do you know of a system that is comparable in quality to the mixpander and alpha link that will work on a mac?

That's a shame. Would be nice to be able to mix and process sounds in logic and only use a couple drum racks in my Live rewire session. Kinda loose out on the whole point of a drum rack while using live as a rewire slave. Would be kinda silly to use a drum rack for one sound. Guess I could go back t...

multiple rewire channels in Drum Rack?
Am I completely blind! Can't seem to find a way to route multiple channels via rewire from 1 instance of drum rack in to Logic? I assumed there would be a drop down menu listing the buses in each track when you expand the drum rack mixer in clip view? Any wisdom would be so helpful.

Drum Rack Question
Can someone help me with a quick question? Is it possible to route individual samples in Drum Rack to there own Return? Can't seem to find this.

Re: Summing engine still needs work
This probably is a panning law effect you are hearing. I know at one time people complained about Sonar's mix engine, and I think the problem came down to Cubase using a -3db cosine panning law where I think Sonar's was linear. This might be the case with Live. I think the former one is used more o...

Summing engine still needs work
Summing engine still needs work. I find that my stereo bounces are still not in the same ballpark as Logic or Cubase. The stereo field is noticeably narrow compared to the later. Not sure what's going on under the hood, but seems to me, it would be the best place to start to competing with the "...

Live and BFD2
Has anyone had any problems running BFD2 with Live? I'm getting huge CPU spikes with only one track in the session and with nothing loaded into BFD2 AND! the transport is idol!? I've tried changing my buffer size and other settings, downloaded the latest Update for both live and bfd2, but can't figu...
