Re: vst load-up serious error!

Wow! Could it be a particular plug-in? Would be interesting to see if a particular VST is creating this problem. I'll tell you the ones I used yesterday: PSP Nitro, Spin Audio Room Verb, PSP Master Q, PSP Vintage Warmer, Elemental Audio's--Firium, Equim, and Inspector, Operator, Voxengo Elephant, V...

Actually 4.1 loads fine for me, 4.1.1 however has the "Serious program error" banner after about a 5 minute stall at the load screen. 4.1.1 was working fine for me on Friday and i didn't install anything new since then since plug ins are the obvious culprit. The only idea i have is that i...

I cannot say anything regarding Live with ProTools or ReVision, but rewiring Reason into Live does not prevent me from using Kontakt as VSTi at the same time. Perhaps the problem is with some specs of your system - could you be more specific on this?

Re: This Live4 POS is merely a toy for seedy DJ types

Here's a clue. Learn some real musical foundation. You know........theory, chordal systems, modes, etc. Shoot, even the chromatic scale might come in useful. Especially then you´ll find live useful - it is an amazing tool to get your musical ideas quickly recorded, combine them into new structures,...

This is just to inform you that a solution has been provided in the kinetic-forum. The trick is to install the ASIO4All-drivers which are available under

Now everything seems to work fine with rewiring kinetic into live.

In some sense, I could locate the problem. It seems to be a driver issue. My audio card is an M-Audio Delta66. If I choose the ASIO-drivers in live, the problem appears as described. Choosing the MME/DirectX-drivers results in the processing of kinetic´s audio in live´s audio engine, however, the so...

Hi Jason, I don´t have a solution, but I want to say: You are not alone - I am having the same problems (this is also valid for live 3.0.4). Rewiring kinetic into live does not produce any sound in live´s audio engine (although everything regarding the rewire-setup is ok). There are no problems with...

Kinetic and Rewire

Hi all, I am having problems with rewiring Cakewalk´s Kinetic into Live 3.0.4. I do everything that is necessary for using Live as rewire master (and everything works fine with Reason, Project5 etc.), but the audio from Kinetic is not processed in Live (i.e., the transport is in sync, the Kinetic mi...

On my system, the antares plug shows up in the list of available plugins, however, trying to load the filter results in a message by live (3.0.4) that there has occurred a program error and the file should be closed. With other hosts (e.g., sonar, project5 etc.) everything works fine. Has anybody an...

hulk, you can either record any keymovements in the Orange Vovoder´s key area (using the mouse) as automation events, or you can use the effects envelopes to build any desired sequence of key movements (although the latter way is somewhat tedious because by just changing the respective envelope you ...

main, after a look into the orange vocoder´s manual, I am skeptical whether the vocoder´s keys can be played via midi at all. The manual contains only a description of using the cursor arrow keys, but there is essentially no hint on the use of an external midi keyboard. Thus, I think that the Bidule...

main, that´s right - you cannot play the keys via a midi keyboard in live. But you have two related opportunities: First, click with the mouse on the key area in orange vocoder, then you can shift the chords by means of the arrow keys of your computer keyboard. Second, you can assign the Modulation ...
