I've been having this problem for ages! The worst is when I'm in the middle of a live performance and live decides its time to play hide and seek, Instantly killing my audio. At first the crowd thinks it's all part of the show and they freak out cheering and stuff, I try to get live up and running (...

I really love this guy and I totally DIG his music.
He keeps it simple (mostly) yet extremely creative. I really like his stuff.

Oh and I love that motif XS8 of his. I with I had some kind of soft synth with it's brains.

I'll check it out. Thanks man, I've been thinking about videoing some live tips as well. I think it would be pretty awesome to get a website going thats like a library of helpful Ableton live "how-to" videos.

thanks for taking the time.

Thanks man. yeah the vocal levels need to be raised. I hate listening to a performance after the fact and realizing the vocal levels were to...

I would recommend making one Live set, with a core set of instruments (either MIDI or inputs from real instruments) that can be used across multiple tracks/songs. I would also suggest using Scenes to some capacity, so you can trigger the next section of a song or another song entirely. I'm sure you...

There are just SO MANY ways one can utilize Live for a live performance that it would help if you had specific questions. Like, "I'm playing my guitar, how do I fire off my scenes while my hands are working?" Answer: Get a midi foot controller. That's an example. Aside from the moving you...
