holy crap, i should have read the 7.0.3 change log more carefully... When Live is running as the MIDI clock master, the first two sent MIDI clock messages could have the same time stamp. An Options.txt entry called '-_Live6ClockOutputCompatibility' brings back the old behavior if required. in...

Ableton is 'investigating the issue'...

See http://www.ableton.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=89217

However, there's no word about a fix in the 7.0.5 change log...

while testing a bit more i can definitely say that this issue has been introduced with 7.0.3.

7.0.2 has no 'midiclock loop drift' using the exact same setup.

Drifting midiclock in arrangement loop

As the title says... I *only* get this when looping a region in arrangement view and Live being the master. Seems to me as if the midi clock misses out on a couple of messages with each loop cycle. Eventually after 3 or 4 passes the clock is in sync again for the duration of 1 pass but continues to ...

i found out the only delay i cant compensate for is when i route incoming audio (triggered by midi) from the input track to another audio or return track. the input track can be shifted by delay compensation, no problem. but other tracks receiving audio from that same track get some strange delay th...

I very much second that wish. Especially the timestretching. I'm using live in a production environment where it's not crucial to have realtime timestretching capabilities - although i agree its very handy to play around with it... however, i often miss some high quality offline algorithm that can h...

I'm interested to know, are people finding this really makes a difference? the shell thingy is nice and all, but the real problem are the services and programs that start automatically. therefore my question: is it possible to have some kind of boot menu (only that its NOT booting from a different partition), where we can choose the appropriate start configuration, complet...

i'm thinking about getting a nerdbag for my thinkpad r52. unfortunately none of the available sizes seem to match EXACTLY. however, the 14" version seems to get closest although the width is 0.5 cm short :( the laptop's dimensions are roughly: 27cm x 33cm x 4cm. any chance it would fit in nonet...

agreed 150% for instance, using instruments with multi-outs is a major pain in the a**. due to the strict separation of midi and audio tracks the setup tends to get extremely confusing pretty quickly. i would love to get better support for handling multi-timbral and multi-out instruments. track fold...
