I should rethink my terminology...I dont want to lock into Live's quantisation... I want to determine the length of my first loop freely...free time...no commitments.......And then have all the following loops be the exact same lentgh. As though loop 1 becomes the master.... So technically the follo...

I'm also playing with loopy Llama which is very cool but basicaklly I want Live to behave like a multitrack looper laying down loops on tracks 1 then 2 then 3 etc. I know I can set a tempo and quantise to bar...but some of the music is amb...

I've read a post that says you can do it by using the MACKIE control...but I cant quite figure out what that means.....do you just look up the mackie protocol and set your pedal to send those messages???

midi mapping to keys(cursor, enter) without a translator???

I'm wondering if there is a way to map my floor controller directly to a key function ...like "ENTER"..without using a midi translator. It seems like a rather obvious thing to have built into the program. I'm in 5.2....does 6 change any of this...I'm aware that you can have 1 midi message ...

I just discovered this and it resolves your issue. First of all your tracks have to be armed...may I suggest using an audio track 1 as input and monitor only....then set the inputs of your other recording tracks to Audio1. Arm all the tracks but turn the monitor off for eveything except input....the...

Maintaining clip FOCUS

I'm using the curser keys to shift focus amoung multiple slots. When I adjust an effect setting or something ...I lose focus on the clips. Whats the best way to return focus to the clip slots?.... should I just designate a dummy slot to a pedal on my FCB1010 to it?....seems like a waste of a pedal t...

im really not the guy to answer this but it does ring a bell. I read it somewhere The problem you describe is also evident of knobs....hence the continuous rotary controller. If i recall the solution lies in the behaviour assigned to a controller...it can behave in various ways....one is to be relat...
