Yeah - I've had the same problem.. Usually only happens on boot up though... I unplug it and replug it in, and it works fine... but it does worry me a little as I've only had a mac for a few weeks and am nervous it'll happen live.......

M-Audio Firewire Audiophile works fine, although you do have to run the driver installer in XP compatible mode for it to install...... Control Panel works fine too

Yeah, definitely agree with Vista being good.... Do have one track which refuses to render now though, which is a bit of a problem.....
