So there is no work around for this? You can't real time record in program changes??

bummer you can't record program changes in a midi clip, except at the beginning!

So, is the only way to do send a midi program change in the clip where you select bank/program, etc?

Is there a way to record midi program change anywhere in the clip, i.e. for patch changes during the song????? Please tell me there is!

I'm running Live 4 and Arkaos via rewire on a new Powerbook 17" 1.67 with 1Gig ram with Arkaos going full screen out the s-video port. It works great. I'm running 4 stereo audio tracks in live and one midi device at the same time. About 1 month now into rehearsals and it hasn't choked yet, knoc...

But normally the warp would have no effect, the audio clip will have the same BMP as the set so no actual warping is applied. // C If you are making multiple passes recording stuff in, it throws it off For instants if I track a drum kit, then lay down a bass overdub...problems!!! that is not right?...

Anyone?

Mac OSX 10.2.8, Live 4..
In preferences, I choose Loop/Warp should be unwarped one shot, but when I record audio it always ends up being warped.

which then I have to go and turn off those warps individually in each clip...a pain...plus things seem to get off this way

At the bottom right, click on the little "Buss" icon and unlink the stereo channels to mono that you want. Then they will show up individually in your ins/outs for RME (or whatever)

You can select the VST folder location in preferences.

It depends on what the release is for. If it's just for your personal use, try putting this on your master fader: Live Compressor - light 2:1, slow attack, medium release, not pumping, etc. Classic Limiter VST (free at KVR), for a little more limiting but use lightly.
