With that said, just a touch of EQ and a bit of Compression/Limiting can really "glue" a mix together. For some silly reason, this subject is pretty much taboo in any of the recording geek forums.....see the one on Gearslutz.com for examples. That tarekith post is great, thanks for posting...

I've just been messing about with this very subject. I found the lesson in Live that walks you through finding the latency and figuring the compensation out in milliseconds. Then you can adjust in the preferences. I found that it helped quite a bit. Leedsquietman is right about the 25-30ms of delay....

Cool. Then try what i posted. I have been messing around with the best way to transfer to my PT rig. This one worked great. Just make sure you are matching sample and bit rate. Just to avoid problems. Good luck.
