BTW, the original Acid programmer now works for Apple.
Probably WILL have G4 & 970 altivec support too...

One VERY big issue with OSX cpu performance is the # of i/o channels on your i/o card or USB/Firewire box. OSXs CoreAudio always activates ALL the channels! Hopefully we will have an update to address this issue.... i.e. My PowerMacs motherboards 2 channel i/o or my Cubes Griffin 2 channel iMic uses...

Add me to the list wanting better Mac OSX support with all the standard pro Mac features such as Altivec / DualProc / OSX multithreading, etc... In all fairness to Ableton I relalize OSX audio/midi support was very weak until the current 10.2 Jaguar release... so hopefully these issues will be resol...
