Am I correct in thinking I can't record automation onto an already-recorded MIDI sequence in arrangement view? I know I can do it in session view, or record it at the same time as recording the notes, but I'd like to be able to record myself adjusting parameters on Push 2 as I play back a previously...

Just an update - Ableton support can't help, I tried doing a clean re-install of Live but it's still the same.

Can anyone suggest an alternative DAW? I know it won't be the same as Live but it's impossible to use Live with this delay.

Yes, there is nothing on the tracks in Live. It's a new Live set, no instruments, clips or plugins. Yes I have checked through the using external hardware guide. I've tried recording with track monitor off and there's still a delay. I've also tried connecting the keystep using midi into a MOTU Micro...

I've recently moved from Mac to PC and I'm having problems with MIDI latency in Ableton. Everything I record in Ableton comes in 1/16th bar late, even if using the Ableton built in keyboard. I've tried using several external interfaces (Keystep, Beatstep, Quneo, & Virus) but I get the same delay...
