It has to exist in Live!

Something Cubase has been doing now for a while and it is a great thing to find new ways for song structure as well as the launching single clips.

hell yeah so imaportant when you want to export to an online store that's all they want for some reason.

I've been looking around the net and so far there is nothing around that does it right or even close to. how about an ableton instrument that turns any audio tracks to Midi notes. This would enable any one to record a nice guitar solo(or any audio track and have that guitar solo turned into midi to ...

A for any given track the controller could recognize what are the plug ins attached to it and with click of button on the controller switch to that plug in and then all button are now mapped to all controls in the plug ins....it is like going through layers with ability to come right back at the top...

For any type of tracks. That would just be grand, i'm with you on that one.
Drum Rack is just phenomenal, let's expand it to any other Tracks. and have the user manage that .....

I totally agree with this . The artist Series are going to be very popular because of their price and capabilities when it comes to controlling a Daw. Ableton is a pro Daw and just having Mackie Hui capabilities is very limiting. They have done the Automap you can when the plug in is selected. just ...

The I/O mixer view in the Arrange window is a little bit confusing. I know Ableton Live is all about the one window deal, But the mixer is probably the only Element that I would like to see detachable. or at least a split view in the arrange window. I'm new to live and ,I read that by pressing the return button I could switch from recording to looping what I had just recorded. is there a way to get the same result through midi mapping? what do I map to get whatever clip I am recorded to switch from record to play.... hope that makes sense, wait...

I'm thinking about getting live 5 and I am trying the demo of live 5 with the tascam 1884. I cannot get the tascam 1884 to be recognized by live 5 . Do I need to do some kid of set up for it to work. I have set it up in the preference with unabling the control port and the mackie control thing . Am ...
