Hey i like a lot of these ideas....
i was using keys to go right to the return racks but i like the idea if using playstoprecord....
but how?? tried mapping midi and it did not work.... any suggestions?

I really like this fx patch and am trying to modify it to use it in my live set...
one thing i am having a hard time understanding is how to map the chain selector to buttons / midi cc's...

i guess i have had some imporvements with some of the various suggestions... but then again some sets do open and are really slow and buggy... maybe i will try the undo trick... but still, i do not feel 8 is stable enough for shows... i love the idea of the apc 16 you posted... i love the size and the multifunctionality. although i rarely think four channels is enough. for djing yes...but for composing not so much. one of the reasons i do not own an APC40 is the size... too big for me to travel with and take gigging. well in some ways live is working a bit better. not amazing wow but the sync with other gear is tighter.... the glitches and spinning ball are less although i experienced those more in arrangement view and i just did a 20 minute jam in session view... but as soon as i start processing drums with ano...

funny ableton support had me delete some of these but not all of them... so giving it a try and we shall see what happens

not sure so much what the problem is... but i definitely am having problems. I have been having a lot of slowness in the way live 8 responds on my system macbook 2.2g - 4g-7200/320hd- 10.6.2 motu ultralite v1 firmware 1.15 UC33 - Nanopad I have had multiple instances of my motu crashing with Live 8 ...

i am running macbook 2.2 4g of ram OS X 10.6.2 To me it seems like Live is running terribly slow. I also have had problems with my motu soundcard crasing all of sudden.
