I reckon you might be better off with some device which simply reads how you move it (like gloves fro example), so that you're not stuck having to touch a screen the whole time, with your back to everyone.
I've got a load of video links somewhere about Jeff Han

here we go then, a one knob filter. Didn't work the way I was thinking to start with, so I had to come up with another one. It needs tweaking still to taste, but the method works, so it's just sorting out a few things to make it work how you want that needs sorting now, which I think everyone can do...

yeah, what difference said. You should be able to hear that with any track with strings. You will also often find that some basslines get very artifacted at some settings. This is a little problematic when a track is beats and bass for half the song, then suddenly breaks into strings. You have to fi...

thanks Tarekith, but I've already got a massive autohotkey script that does that amongst other things. On Mac I belive there's the ability somewhere in the OS to set hotkeys and shortcuts for any program, so if you can find that you can customise Ableton to your hearts content. The problem you might...

hehe, fallen into the trap of posting on the wrong forum when there's a perfectly good one elsewhere - I'm always telling people to come here when they insist on asking about Live elsewhere (though to be fair, there are a lot of software forums which aren't so rewarding). Anyway, thankyou for the ad...

eh? more details on finetuning please, unless it's something that's really specific to system/patch. Although I've not got too far through the tutorials yet, using them on a pick and mix basis which is probably not best, but it's a case of as I need to learn something. Don't think I have anything th...

haha, oh dear tricil. I found that trick in an old folder last night, and was pleased, very good trick, so thankyou. Also realised looking through a few of Phat Conductor's posts that I'd just progammed an Autohotkeys script that I could probably have bought off him for $30 but nevermind. If I had 2...

thanks nolus, don't know why I didn't think of that, but that's the benefit of posting on here. Anyway, I did the same. Live - midi yoke - Live ~ 11.25 ms Live - PD - Live ~ 93.1 ms Live - Max - Live ~ 16.4 ms the patches in PD and Max were not the same, both things I'd programmed before, but the no...

looking through old posts and distant regions of my hard drive last night for a few things (Machinate's Step Sequencer is still great), I realised that Hoffman's Simpulse (check the CovOps sight) and Phat Controller's midi juggling ideas are made for each other. Like the sweepable crossover a lot to...
