Is a Macbook (not pro) good enough for Live performance?
Is a Macbook (not the pro one) good enough for live performance? Thinking of buying one. I have a Mackie Satellite, which works great. Not sure how many tracks I'm going to use, but there will be only Ableton effects, and probably not many of those. There wont be any instruments, I don't trust softw...

Can someone get a midi file of the drumtrack in my alp file?
Hi, I sold live recently, but I need to get the drumtrack from an old file so I can re-record the song. Could someone possibly do me this small favour, and load up the alp from the link below, consolidate the midi track for the drums (its the sole midi track, not hard to locate) export it and forwar...

I can't find proof of Pro Tools LE being cracked either. Point being... dongles work. So digi could easily adopt the same format that Apple and Steiny have, still protect their software, and open it up to a wider userbase. I would love to use Pro Tools. But I don't want to get rid of my Tascam FW180...

cubase 4 hasn't been cracked??? logic 7 hasn't been cracked???? yes they have! No they haven't. A bit of research and you'll discover that all the Cubase 4 releases are fake, and I can't find anything about Logic 7 being cracked. You're gonna have to prove they've been cracked, pal. To my kno...

stupid or clever? seems the way forward if you actually wanna make some money from your software That's bollocks. If you want to make money from software, get a dongle. Don't limit it to a soundcard. A dongle would provide the same protection - Cubase 4 hasn't been cracked, Logic 7 hasn't been crac...

For some stupid reason, Digidesign are still locking their DAW software to hardware. So Pro Tools LE will only work with Digi hardware, and Pro Tools M-Powered will only work with M-Audio stuff. So if you have a Tascam unit, like I do, you cannot use Pro Tools. Digidesign... pfft... What an absolute...
