well call them hybrid sets then.

I don't have this problem anymore as I'm only playing my own stuff now, but I used to call them Trilosets so it suited my concept album that got released last year.

Axiom and nothing else.

1) Aftertouch POWAAAA
2) Rock solid keys
3) knobs and pads

I'm less happy with the rotary encoders because everytime I go to gigs all encoder values are reset to zero. But it's bearable.

I want one of those!

no offence, simple delay is great. But it would be a lot more convenient to use clock-synced midi delays for instruments, so you can put several them in a rack, and make great clock-synced monotone bass patterns and change instruments without having to overcharge the cpu. In the same vein, a new arp...

don't do something you might regret for the rest of your life mate. I was a Logic Pro geek before.

You want my logic pro 7.2 maybe?

Sends AHOY! (This tip might have been posted yet though)

I rediscovered the joys of using sends in live the other day, and I was thinking of using that robert henke tip for thunder, but in an easier way so it suits my workflow and/or ideas. Thing is, I also discovered sending a return to itself and routing it to an audio track is HILARIOUS. Tried with del...

ALL the sampler instruments in EXS format, including the ones from Logic AND Garageband, can be directly imported into Live 6, and edited into sampler!

there's a way to do so, without markers, but you would have to use simpler for the acca, and a keyboard pitch bend...

Sends and Macro LFO inside Racks, bsides faders and knobs!!

Sends, let me tell you why. The idea is like getting a mixer connected to the mixer, so the racks that you have, whether they're fx or instruments, become totally independent... There are also incredible ways to use sends with various fx, I tried them yesterday, and, well, WOW. I need to post that s...

an electronic drum kit uses just ONE midi cable, so no need for many inputs, just a midi interface.

And you can use whatever you want as an electronic drumkit is totally independent from Live and vice-versa, still they communicate through midi.

ok time for some update: blitchmyglitch and scratcher are now on my ftp. While the first was made from... scratch, eeeerm scratcher is based on phat conductor's rack, and I just made it fit my own way to play with samples. Blitchmyglitch is a realtime glitcher that moves all the time. It uses a lot o...

it doesn't work that way. Once you get your roland kit, you will have to affect every pad (kick, snare, hats, etc...) to a specific note number. Impulse has specific pads affected to notes/keys, C3 to C4 and no black keys, which means 8 pads. Let's say that Kick in impulse is on C3, so affect your r...

Re: MIDI problems in oSX 10.4.9 - triggerfinger

Hello I have recently updated to an Intel MACBOOK running osx 10.4.9. Firstly, ableton is running brillaintly and I love the new machine, but since updating, none of my midi gear works, specifically my trigger finger. Ableton won't even recognise it let alone let me assign anything. Have been to th...
