hey ableton, one thing really bugs me almost every week: not beeing able to customize the input/output channel names . 1/2.. 3/4 etc. is just horrible; as I work with 30+ input channels coming from an aggregated device it would be REALLY cool to have the ability to assign names in the input/output c...

Hi Guys, I bought Max4Live yesterday, installed the latest Max Version, have the latest Ableton Suite installed (8.2.1 on OSX), re-activated my version (it says in the prefs that max4live is included), but can't see the M4L instrument / Effect in the instrument-browser in Live... what am I missing /...

hi george, don´t know how many clips i can play simultaniously, but quite a few...depends on the midi instruments behind the clips; i gues you should try creating a new user, login and try ableton. and disconnect all peripherals, and try again. otherwie you mighgt consider getting another gig of RAM...

well, 1 gig is not that much. but first check your system monitor, maybe you have some background tasks running? i have the same mac like you, only with 2 gigs of ram, and live 8 suite works fine over here...

i think nothing special. I just recognized that since I installed the version 8 this feature doesn´t work anymore over here... what would you recommend? delete the preferences and try again?
if it works fine at yours it has to be some strange problem with my computer, right?

Hi guys, this might have been reported before but I discovered today that dropping audio clips or Instrument presets to the unused slot area they don´t generate new tracks anymore. this has always been a useful feature in Live since I use it, but now it´gone. I use Mac 10.5 and Live 8.02 cheers, mark
