Re: Push 3 as hardware controller
And my follow-up on the same forum … I downloaded the Driven By Moss extension for Bitwig and was very pleasantly surprised to see all these issues are not an issue with Bitwig. In a few minutes I had an excellent controller setup on Push 3 with Bitwig for the AS-1. Seems totally bonkers to me that ...

Push 3 as hardware controller
Reposting from the Elektronauts forum: Is there a better way of mapping plugin controls to Push 3? Let me explain what I am trying to do. I was hoping to use P3 to program a Toraiz AS-1 as the built-in AS-1 UI is less than ideal. I purchased the CodeKnobs AS-1 editor and used the Configure option in...

Migrating from Push3 SA beta to regular release
Anyone else having trouble migrating from the beta to the regular release?
Downloaded the swu file and browsed to http://push.local/update, enter the pin etc. Now my Push is stuck on:
Updating to Push None…
And the browser reports: Something went wrong.
Rebooting results in the same behavior.

Re: Live 10 System Requirements ... can't find anywhere.
Well sh*t!. I purchased the Live 10 upgrade when it was announced and just tried to install the beta on OS X 10.10.5. My own fault for not checking the requirements first but there is no way I'm upgrading my rock solid OS just to use Live 10 after reading horror stories about Firewire interfaces etc.

Re: Push 2: Is it possible to copy and paste notes?
AUTOMATION DOESN,T COPY OR PASTE in any mode. From my point of view we have a problem here: sometimes you just want to copy and paste notes without automation and this is how works now.But another mode must be implemented when you want to copy automation + note Really stupid this hasn't been fixed y...

Re: Push 2: Is it possible to copy and paste notes?
Hope this is addressed in Live 10. This totally kills the Push workflow for me.

Re: Push 2: Is it possible to copy and paste notes?
Just got a Push 2 and this was the first issue I ran into (coming from Elektron machines too). I have the latest version of Live but still cannot copy step automation. Is this still in beta?

M4L patch to document Live set?
I just discovered this SOS article talking about creating Live lessons to document Live sets. Wondering if it would be possible to create a M4L patch to automate this process. Maybe it has already been done?

Re: looking for a midi controller with with tons of knobs only?
Agreed ... DIY is the way to go! If I were going to do this again I would go the Hale Micro route just for the almost plug and play aspect of the components. However, the Doepfer Pocket Electronic (which I used for the attached controller) was fairly easy to implement also. http://electro-music.com/...

Re: Anyone syncing outboard midi gear with ableton? need help!!!
Midi is not sample accurate and never will be! I just don't understand how people's issues can be so unworkable when so much great music (that is in time) has been written using midi? Are you referring to latency or inconsistency? Consistency is the important thing as latency can be overcome. Of co...

Re: Anyone syncing outboard midi gear with ableton? need help!!!
More ports aren't always the solution although they can help. Back in the old days I would run my whole studio from one Atari and everything was about as tight as midi could get - not as good as CV and gate but good enough and a lot easier. But the Atari and most other hardware midi sequencers prod...

Sleep Distillery ...
Hi,
I would really appreciate some feedback on a new downtempo/electronica project I just completed:

If any of you dig it I'll pm some free download codes!
Cheers,

Re: Delay comp with external sync (i have RTFM and searched!!)
Apart from trial and error, is there a way to scientifically measure what this midi clock sync offset should be set to?
