Re: Ableton Push 3 update
What an amazing product! I am happy with my Push 2 though and keeping my Roli Seaboard for MPE playing. But the day my Push 1 and PUsh 2 might break down I may look into a Push 3 replacement

Re: Tricks to make Live detect Push#1?
Ouch. Now my PUsh is working again, but Live doesn't detect my third-party VSTs, nor my iLook. A message on the screen informs me: "Live 9.7.1 has stopped working. A problem caused the program to stop working correctly. Windows will close the program and notify you if a solution is available.&q...

Re: Tricks to make Live detect Push#1?
disable Push in the preferences and then back again in a new fresh set. Done! A fresh set comes up with the Push chosen, as we would expect. But still, the pads and menus on the PUsh don't light up. If nothing improves, try to delete the Live preferences and restart. Hm, aren't you thinking Mac OS ...

Re: Tricks to make Live detect Push#1?
Start the Push without the cable inserted. The pads should shift in colors until you insert the cable. This happens? Yes. If so, and when inserted you get that LED message before starting Live and it doesn't activate when you start Live, then try and disable Push in the preferences and then back ag...

Re: Tricks to make Live detect Push#1?
Thanks! Yes, the connection is in place; because if plugging out/in the Push the Win7 PC gives that typical OS sound (of some external device being handled)Stromkraft wrote:And the other questions? You want to make sure you have a connection to Live.

Oh, sorry that I forgot to mention that. My MIDI prefs are still listing Push as the Control Surface, as expected.

Tricks to make Live detect Push#1?
THis morning Live 9 (suite) suddenly doesn't light up my Push#1. the Push display shows the typical message "Please start Live to play..." Does anyone know a way to mend this showstopper limbo? The project has not changed since I saved it yesterday. What I did yesterday was to unfreeze a t...

Alternative set templates for Live
Hi guys, I'm looking for a way to save set templates for Live? I mean, typically thirty to fifty tracks pre-loaded with instruments and adequate effects. So far, I have only been able to use the pref's "Save Current Set as Default". Is this the only option? I know that both Logic and Bitwi...

Changing MIDI channel between Input and Instrument
Hi guys, Can someone please share a hint on how to change the input MIDI channel between the MIDI input and the instrument? My situation is this: I have Kontakt patches that need to be fed over MIDI channel 16, in order to work. When playing my Push in Live I see no way of telling the PUsh what MIDI...

Re: Installing on an external drive?
Thank you, guys! Doesn't look too good for me, I'm afraid; even though I should be able to move the installation there isn't space enough for carrying out the initial installation.

Installing on an external drive?
Does someone know if it is possible to install Live on an external drive?
My internal SSD is already full with sampler library files. The drive I'm having in mind for Live also covers projects and more sampler libraries.

Yes, I have decided to stay with Push #1 because I totally depend on PXT-G for using it with a lot of different applications I'm working with.

Re: Dynamic MIDI for each note...
Indeed! And stuff like having each note of a chord glide over time to reach new pitches forming a new chord.chapelier fou wrote:Sorry to be off topic, but this would be amazing for microtonal stuff, isn't it ?
