Re: Possible to slice to midi track?

Yes, exactly that. In Live, there’s the option to ‘slice to new midi track’. It creates the correctly micro timed midi to be able to play back your slices exactly as the original sample. It’s a pretty basic feature, I’m really surprised I can’t find it anywhere on Push3. Kind of makes Push more diff...

Possible to slice to midi track?

I can’t find a way to slice a sample to a midi track so the slices are laid out as midi notes. It’s like a 1 second job in Live, but I can’t figure out how to do it on Push3 SA. It’s such a basic feature, please tell me there’s a way to do it! :?: Edit: I don’t mean the convert drums to midi option,...

FX sync?

I've been looking at ways of syncing Abletons FX with the sound coming from my decks. I've already configured a tap control to help but i think it can be done automatically. I've just started playing round with live as a mixing tool this week, I've been playing round with the fx connected to my mixer but it occurred to me that something is missing. Anyone know if a plugin exists that converts an audio signals bpm into midi timecode? RedSound used to make a hardware vers...

DJing with Live 5

I've had live 5 since Jan but have only just today explored the uses of djing with it (my decks are being repaired and i was pining for a mix!). Question: If i start building a DJ set in live then the processor starts eating up as my playlist builds. I need these tunes to be loaded as i've warped th...
