yeah, I think they assume people can do this with presets on their midi controllers, but it would be nice to be able to do it in software

It would be very useful to be able to map a midi controller to control the loop length/start points of one specific clip or slot, rather than having to control whatever clip currently has the focus.

hmmm....I think it may have been an issue with my midi interface being set up in the Live sync preferences but not being plugged in, that for some reason caused Live to glitch audio playback...I'll post tonight after I get a chance to test my theory, but I've managed to get rid of my glitches...

yeah I'm using the internal soundcard on my macbook, because I had glitches in Live 6 with my USB audio interface when I used the trackpad (they share the usb bus). The issue with me is, Live 6 worked just great with my internal sound card (which isn't bad BTW 24bit 96khz), but no matter what I try ...

has the bug fix (7.0.2) fixed this for anyone?

ableton support hasn't gotten back to me and I'd really like to be able to use 7

initial playback of audio clips still glitches here too, sounds like CPU spikes, but meter stays around 5%, cannot adjust settings to correct it....

I mean the tempo drops like 10-15bpm whilst the tempo box reads the same. ie: BPM reads 128bpm but actually playing at like 110bpm. Anyone else experienced this tempo drop problem too? oh weird I thought I was going crazy, but this happened to me too...I couldn't figure out what the hell caused it....

yeah i have similar problems on my macbook (2ghz 2gb ram)....it seems like it might be graphics related...I also get serious glitches when I scroll through the scene window up and down...it really sucks though, Live 7 is basically unusable for me, I can't believe this didn't come up in the beta test...

I want to be able to send the output of an audio track to a specific audio chain on an audio Rack on another audio track....this seems like an oversight in the functionality of a rack.
