Re: Help!! with Remote SL 25 Mk 1 PLEASE!

I think you have to press and hold Edit then press the pad, then along the left display you'll see info about that pad which you can change by rotating the knob directly underneath that setting. You can test the pad whist still in edit mode (as long as you're not holding edit) and you'll have to do ...

Suggestions and things to restore

Few suggestions: Custom keyboard shortcuts for any operation (in particular to me are Set 1.1.1 Here, Warp From Here (Straight), Save (warp info). Obviously other commands would be useful too. Option to scroll mouse wheel to zoom in/out of sample editor. Option to have warp markers automatically sav...

DJ Template for Novation Zero SL

I thought it was about time to give something back to the ableton community. I have made a 4 track template for DJing preferable with an external mixer although it can be used with just the SL controller by changing all of the return tracks outputs to 1&2 Downloads Ableton File Zero SL Template ...

Re: How to select the playing clip in a track PLEASE!!!!

if it's any consolation I've been looking for this for ages too. i have the advantage of always having the playing clip in row 1 (because of the way i work) so I could use some midi to mouse position program, but I don't really want to have anything else other than ableton and finder running cos my ...

Re: Labeling of warp markers

I agree, from a DJing angle it would be great to label where vocals start, funny breaks or boring sections etc.

1) I don't use automap when DJing, it make things a lot simpler to have one fader/button/knob for one setting only. Automap is very useful when using ableton for production but i would stay away from it DJing.

2) Not sure sorry

seperate input & output buffer?

is it possible to seperate input and output in terms of latency in relation to the buffer? I dont mind the output latency but I need a low input to be able to record audio samples in real time.

Have I got the wrong end of the stick here?

Delete clips via midi?

I'd had a search about but not found anything....

I have an audio track set up to record an input, with a midi button assigned to start and end recording. Is is possible to have a seperate midi button to delete that recorded clip ready to start recording a new 1??
