Very interesting, I can't see any reason why they should be so much cheaper, unless they are a more established type of product so there's more competition perhaps?! I'm all in favour of using things for something other than what they were intended for and it looks like you got a hell bargain there ...

I've got a Remote25, and I think the actual keyboard itself is wicked, and it has very high quality construction. I have no experience with their customer support, but for those of you who are curious, here are a few things that could be better: there are still a number of quirks in the firmware at ...

There have been some good points made here, i think a big thing that seems to have changed from the days of Beatles, Hendrix, Floyd (to use names already mentioned), is that although they were pop, they were appealing to the highest common denominator, rather than the lowest (think reality tv shows ...

RME's stuff is fantastic, but inevitably is at the higher end of the price spectrum. I recently ended up purchasing the (seemingly seldom mentioned) Digigram VXPocket 440, which is a Cardbus (aka PCMCIA) card with four analog ins, four analog outs, headphone out, SMPTE IN, SPDIF I/O. Try fitting all...

I've been researching this topic for a while and ended up making some purchases but I'm still quite amazed that portable digital recorders are so scarce - basically you want the audio equivalent of a digital camera - and look how many gazillions of cameras there are out there, and hardly any decent ...

theres a multimedia ASIO driver in Cubase and Nuendo, with wich you can control two Soundcards, use all outs and ins, this we would need for live then... Sounds like what I was imagining the other day - a virtual audio device, that would act as an intermediate layer between the software and the act...
