Wish: Midi Mappable buttons

I wish Ableton would put a tiny section on the screen that has midi mappable buttons for save, undo and switch view(session to arrange and back). I could work nearly mouse free with these extra buttons. Basically i use an 01x as a controller for live and it has dedicated save and undo buttons but th...

Request

A fellow ableton user said i should post this here. I wish Live had midi mappable buttons for the following: save, undo, and a button that switches the view from session to arrangement and vice versa. Basically i use a yamaha 01x as my controller for live and i work pretty much mouse free with those...

Better support for Yamaha 01x

After learning that it is the software manufacturer that has to provide support for a given control surface i would like to ask for better support for the Yamaha 01x.

A couple more for the wishlist

1.) I think a loop remix feature like that on the yamaha a4000/a5000 and Rs7000 samplers would be great. it might seem kind of lame to some of you but it would be a great start for creating even more complicated stutter effects, drumfills, and so on. Would certainly save users time if the presets we...

Live Sets

Does anyone have a really basic live set they can post on the internet. I am having problems with my setup and think it is a midi map problem but i cant figure it out. If i could load a basic live set( like the default setup) it would help me out. Please help. Jett.

Fader Issue- Please Help

I am using Live 5 with a Yamaha 01x and everything is working great except for one small but very important thing. When i use my motorized faders on the 01x, the faders in Live move accordingly, but when i reset the fader to zero using the 01x(a button on the 01x) the fader on the 01x does not move ...

Dedicated support for Yamaha's 01x

I would love to see better support for Yamaha's 01x within Live. The Live/01x combination has great potential but the two need to work better together in order to achieve the combos highest potential.

Yes I agree that adding fader curves and smooth crossfading would be great. Ableton if your listening please make this a priority on your next upgrade/edition.
